The current price for a MOT Class 4 Test (as at 07/05/09) is £54.

The MOT is an annual compulsory test for all cars when they reach 3 years old.

The MOT covers:
Lights, windscreen wipers, seat belts, steering ,suspension, brakes, tyres, corrosion & emissions.

Standards are set by VOSA the governing body of the MOT scheme who regularly monitor testing standards.

To avoid failure it is worth checking :
Lights, tyres and fluid levels before presenting your car for a test.

If your car fails its MOT:

1. We will telephone you to advise on the repairs needed and an approximate cost of these repairs.
   
   
2. We do not carry out work without your authorisation.
   
   
3. You then have a choice if you want us to complete your repairs or you take the car away to make any repairs yourself.
   
   
4. If the vehicle is taken away for repairs a re-test fee may be applicable.
